CatalogSweep

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These terms apply to CatalogSweep ("the app"), made by Luis Feairn ("we", "us"). They add to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), which also applies when you get the app from the App Store. If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA wins.

1. What the app does

CatalogSweep looks for files that Adobe Lightroom Classic leaves on your Mac and connected drives, such as previews, old catalog backups and old copies of catalogs. It shows what it found and explains its suggestions. It only moves files you select to the Trash, after you confirm, and it can copy a backup of your catalog, presets and settings to a drive you choose.

2. You stay in control of your files

3. No warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT ITS SUGGESTIONS WILL BE CORRECT FOR YOUR SETUP.

4. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PHOTOS, EDITS, CATALOGS OR SETTINGS, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

5. Purchases

Scanning is free. Moving files to the Trash needs a one-time in-app purchase made through Apple. Payments, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple under its terms. Purchases are restored with "Restore purchase" using the same Apple Account.

6. Trademarks and independence

Adobe, Lightroom and Lightroom Classic are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Adobe in the United States and/or other countries. CatalogSweep is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Adobe. Mac, macOS, Time Machine and iCloud are trademarks of Apple Inc.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the app and our website will show the date of the latest version. Questions: support@catalogsweep.com ยท https://catalogsweep.com/support/

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that can't be waived.
